Calming Fears, Easing Minds, Saving Lives.

Blue River Township Volunteer Fire Department (also known locally as "The Mooreland Volunteer Fire Department") was organized in 1943. This all-volunteer department includes 19 members who respond to approximately 90 runs each year. BRTVFD provides Fire, Rescue and Medical First-Responder protection to the 10 square miles including the Town of Mooreland and Blue River Township.
